It has been almost 4 years since Maximum Choppage: Round 2 was finished and released and since then, my journey through filmmaking, acting and cultural development has all come back to the origins of where it all started, back to Maximum Choppage, now a possible 6 part Australia's first martial arts comedy TV series.

I'm super grateful to be part of such a highly skilled team with Tony Ayres (Writer/ Director/ Producer), Lawrence Leung (Comedian/ Actor), Corrie Chen (writer/ director), Matt Vesely (writer/ director) & Timothy Ly, two weeks ago in Melbourne for the writing development of this project.

We enjoyed 5 days (that zipped by very quickly) of brainstorming on characters, themes, issues and the wonderful world of Cabramatta, the place in which the story is set.

I loved every part of it. It was also a cathartic experience of highlighting those Cabramatta lives and hidden stories that are quite unique and captivating in itself.

Unfortunately I have to be super tight lipped about things but from what I can tell, it will be one of my dream projects to do, and hey, what better than to follow your dreams and make it happen with an awesome bunch of people yeah?
